Nocturne Beat
A downloadable game for Windows
This is a release candidate for a game jam.
You are a disgraced detective trying to sort out how this all happened by returning to the locations of her case. She encounters demonic events along the way. It is first person with multiple map locations.
The game follows the themes of the Themed Horror Game #21 Game Jam. The theme selected was Theme 3.
Theme 3: Dark Streets
Bonus Challenges:
1 - Urban Horror: The game takes place in some urban area, for example within a big city or a large town.
2 - Serve And Protect: The protagonist is a police officer or a detective.
3 - Chains That Bind You: There's a part in the game where the protagonist has to escape from some kind of restraints (being tied to a chair, handcuffed etc.)
I was able to incorporate the Bonus Challenges, and the number 3 bonus challenge I took some liberties. The character is restrained in a cage (so maybe partial 3).
I also incorporated a bonus item from another one of the themes:
3 - Animal Masks: The game features figures wearing animal masks.
Just a few have animal masks, but I incorporated masks in general as a theme.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.
